Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Asparagus
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 tbsp Salted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • Mix the parmesan & seasonings in a large bowl.
    1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup Italian Bread Crumbs, 1 tsp Paprika, 1 tbsp Dried parsley, 1 tbsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Black pepper
  • One by one, dip both sides of each porkchop in the mixture, patting the 'chop down for optimal sticking. Set aside.
    2 lbs Boneless pork chops
  • Rinse asparagus, cut off the bottoms, & spread onto a baking sheet. Sprinkle some of the remaining parmesan breading mixture over the vegetables at this time (you shouldn't use all of it if you have a considerable amount remaining).
    1 lb Asparagus
  • Begin cooking rice with your preferred method. I typically use a rice cooker and add a little butter.
    1 cup Rice, 1 tbsp Salted butter
  • Add olive oil to frying pan & heat on medium-high, swirling to coat. I typically use two pans & one batch, but if you only have one pan, you can do two batches.
    2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Sear porkchops for 2-3 minutes per side. The goal here is to form a nice golden-brown crust on both sides of the 'chops. When seared, add to baking sheet with the asparagus.
  • Cook 'chops & asparagus & in a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes or until the pork reaches a food-safe temperature of 145 degrees. Be sure to check the porkchops at 5 minutes to verify if they are done, as to not overcook them. You may need to cook asparagus longer than the 'chops to achieve desired tenderness.
  • Divide the rice, porkchops, & roasted asparagus into 4 equal portions. Enjoy!
